Asper was delighted to be able to host an evening reception for the Women In Energy network in London on Tuesday 5th July. We were lucky to have a warm, dry evening in which to meet on the roof terrace at Asper’s offices in Borough Market.

Women in Energy is an initiative launched in 2021 enabling women working in all roles in the energy sector to connect and network. It has a particular focus on supporting relationships and collaboration between those newer to the industry and more experienced and senior practitioners. This was its second event.

Asper’s mission to ‘Build the New’ is about building a vibrant, high-energy firm that is also deeply caring towards our people. We are proud of our talent diversity and how we nurture it. Diversity and inclusion are integral to our culture and the way we work at Asper. Amongst our initiatives we are proud supporters of GAIN, an organisation encouraging women’s careers in investment and we were happy that our 2023 GAIN intern is currently working with us and was able to join the event.

We were especially pleased to have been able to expand the contact base of the Women In Energy network in the course of holding this event and we look forward to continuing to support its growth.
