We are proud to report that during the last twelve months the Asper team has seen significant growth: our new team members will support the high pace of investment in our most recent platforms in the Netherlands and the UK, and will help us step up further our efforts across our investment, sustainability and control functions.
Almost exactly one year ago, Louis Charlton joined Asper as Fund Accountant. Louis joined us from BMO where he was a Senior Auditor specialized in asset management. Shortly after, our controls team was further strengthened by Ina Nica, joining us as Legal Secondee from our relationship counsel firm Macfarlanes.
In April, Dirk Hovers joined Asper as Director from APG, the Dutch pension fund manager. Dirk brings with him many years of experience within the infrastructure direct investment team of one of the world’s largest institutional investors. Accordingly, he has taken a leading role in our investment team and in establishing our new Dutch office.
During the summer, Jiska Klein joined us as Senior Sustainability Manager, also in the Netherlands. Jiska was previously at KPMG where, as a senior ESG consultant, she advised institutional investors and led several high-profile global sustainability projects. Jiska is supporting the Asper team in continuing to deliver best-in-class ESG performance for our growing investment portfolio.
And in October Mark Adams joined our investment team as a Senior Analyst. Mark was previously at Vattenfall, where he gained very relevant experience working on UK energy transition investments.
We are grateful, proud and incredibly excited for our new talent. Together with our Senior Advisors, the entire Asper team is ideally placed and eager to tackle the investments planned for the new year, and to keep working with exceptionally talented energy transition developers to continue Building the New!
