We often hear about the “wall of capital” available to finance the energy transition – but is this the full picture? Is the financial system actually giving the right support to the transition entrepreneurs?
In this article Luigi Pettinicchio and Sarah Ivory present an innovative analysis drawing parallels between the “software” revolution that changed our societies since the ‘70s and the “hardware” revolution currently under way. They then draw insightful and thought-provoking implications for investors, industry players and policymakers.
The article was published on PEI Infrastructure Investor in April 2022, and on Financial Investigator in June 2022.
