GRESB 2025 Results: Asper’s Platforms Continue Strong Sustainability Performance

October 24, 2025

The 2025 GRESB results show Asper maintaining its position in sustainable infrastructure investment. What’s particularly encouraging is that all our platforms didn’t just hold steady—they improved on last year’s already strong performance, even as GRESB’s assessment criteria became more demanding. We’ve been submitting platform data to GRESB since 2016, among the earliest contributors to the benchmark. That nearly decade-long track record gives us a clear view of how sustainability practices in infrastructure have evolved—and where we stand relative to the market. This wasn’t about ticking boxes. The improvement reflects real work: stronger governance, better alignment between managers and investors, and ESG considerations woven throughout our investment process from start to finish. Our platforms scored between 95 and 100 out of 100. These scores stem from years of building sustainability practices, governance standards, and data systems into how we invest—treating them as fundamental to creating value and managing risk, not as compliance obligations. Four of our five platforms earned Sector Leader recognition, one of GRESB’s highest distinctions:

  • Vasa Vind earned two titles: Infrastructure Asset Super Class Leader – Renewable Power and Infrastructure Asset Class Leader – Renewable Power: Wind Power Generation.
  • Energie voor Elkaar (Dorothea Co-investment Partnership) was named Infrastructure Asset Super Class Leader – Network Utilities.
  • Iona Co-investment Partnership received Infrastructure Fund Development Leader – Europe.
  • Dorothea Co-investment Partnership was recognized as Infrastructure Fund Regional Leader – Europe.

These results reflect the quality of the platforms themselves and the relationships underpinning them—between management teams, investors, and local stakeholders. They validate our conviction that good governance and aligned incentives drive both sustainability outcomes and financial returns.
