We are very pleased to announce that Lilia Stoyanova has joined Asper’s Investment Committee (IC) as an independent member.
Lilia brings to our IC extensive infrastructure experience, both as a direct and as an institutional investor. As a highly regarded senior executive in the European infrastructure investment community, Lilia led the European infrastructure program of the Townsend Group (now Aon) where she was responsible for assessing investments and for investment manager selection. Prior to Townsend, Lilia held principal investment roles at Arcus Infrastructure Partners and Macquarie Capital, where she worked on the development, acquisition and financing of several European energy and infrastructure projects.
Lilia has known and worked with the Asper team for several years in her previous roles. As an independent IC member, she will join Asper’s panel of senior advisors , who play a key role in our governance by complementing the skills, knowledge, and experience of our team and by upholding the rigour and thoroughness of Asper’s decision-making processes. Lilia will be joining current IC members Stephen Bough (Deputy Chairman of software investment group Hg) and Asper’s three co-founders Luigi Pettinicchio, Emma Tinker and Luis Quiroga.
We are very excited about Lilia joining our IC: thanks to her rare profile -combining experience of institutional grade investment processes with principal experience in greenfield infrastructure- we believe she will make a very strong contribution to our firm and wish her all the best in her new role!
