Who We Are

Asper is an independent investment management firm, focused on building sustainable real assets.

Our investment team is one of the most experienced in Europe.

The team worked together for more than 12 years, initially as part of the London-based investment firm Hg. In 2016 Asper and Hg announced a staged spin-off of Hg’s renewable infrastructure business, which took place in 2017.  At that point Asper became an independent firm, entirely owned by its management team.

Today Asper manages its own funds, investor mandates and commitments for more than €1.3bn.

Our team has a proven track record across the whole investment value chain:

  • conceiving robust investment theses
  • originating, negotiating and executing attractive investments
  • financing the construction of high quality projects
  • active management of asset operations

WORKING WITH INSTITUTIONAL INVESTORS:

  • Serving 35 global institutions through 4 dedicated funds and investment management mandates for  €1.3bn
  • Invested €480m across 30 equity transactions, mobilizing c€2.5bn of total investment volume
  • Raised or refinanced c€2bn of non-recourse, long-term financing
  • Backed 5 European management teams building platforms of A-grade sustainable infrastructure assets
  • Realized investments for €340m, creating value through greenfield development, construction and operational improvements
